A feline queen is a female cat who has not been spayed yet. She is of the age to reproduce, can be in heat, and can be very vocal and restless. On the streets she can have 2-3 litters a year with the average litter of 4-6 kittens. Many will not survive, but the ones who do will also reproduce and create more litters unless they are spayed and neutered. She can be a great-grandmother in a year. Trap-Neuter-Return helps reduce the suffering on the streets and helps to create more peace. Once she is spayed she is known as a molly cat.
